An on-going series of mixed media on hand-cut marine plywood, signed on the back and ready to hang.

Tripping on wooden blocks, watching bubbles gather and clog the blower, chaos and colour piled high where artisan ceramics and records once lived. The Kaleidoscope Cuts series is born from the joy and frustration that comes when little people merge into our spaces. Their mountains of books, toys, bits and bobs weave into ours, micro worlds found tucked between the couch and dining table. A love for kawaii and the kitsch is evident in these works, their toy-like forms a playful nod to collectible culture and a celebration of the wonder and wildness of childhood.
